Check engine light turned on?

I just passed 100,000 miles and my check engine light came on this morning. I am about 500 miles overdue for an oil change based on what the dealership told me and In the three years I have had it, they have said the air filters are fine every time I have gotten them checked. so, I haven't changed them yet (I was going to request they do it next time I went in regardless of if they think it is necessary). I just got a new gas cap so that should not be an issue. There was a recall at the end of 2020 on my car that I was not aware of until now. The Kia recall number is SC200. There are no noticeable issues with my car when I drive. Is the recall more than likely the reason the light came on and if not, what else could it be?
