2018 Scatpack Challenger. When the check engine light comes on, is the code stored in the car's computer according to mileage or date/time? Meaning is there a way to tell exactly when the check engine light came on? And if so, if the check engine light was reset and then came back on would the information stored update to the new date/mileage? Or is there a backlog history of check engine codes stored in the car's computer?

I don't think there is a backlog, but an advanced scanner might have that capability. It the engine making a ticking noise at idle, also have you changed the spark plugs? This would be the first thing I do to help fix the problem. After changing the spark plugs clear the codes. Also, on cylinder #1 I would replace the ignition coil. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
