Check charging system light turned on?

Hi,

Chances are you will be okay as long as the light doesn't turn back on, and you don't have a long trip. If the light does return, chances are you are running only on battery power and not the alternator. In that case, the battery will drain until the engine stalls.

If the light is on, it is really easy to check. All you need is a voltmeter or multimeter. Take a look through this link, it explains how to do it and what to check:
