Check charging system message?

I had to redo timing the motor and transmission is a 2010. replaced timing components with Ford components from dealership since timing has been redone, the check charging system message comes up. The alternator and battery has been changed and still does the same thing. Engine starts running rough when message comes up.

Hi,

It is possible that the alternator is in the process of failing. What I need you to do is this.

When the vehicle is off and all electrical components are off, see how much voltage is present at the battery. Start the engine and drive it until the light comes on. At that point, check the battery voltage again. You will need a voltmeter or a multimeter for this.

The only thing different from the link would be waiting until the light comes on and the engine runs rough.
