Compressor clutch never engages?

Replaced leaking evaporator coil, then compressor, accumulator/drier, and pressure switch. Go to try and charge the system and cannot get system to take at MOST 6 oz of refrigerant clutch never engages. This car doesn't have one particular relay to try and jump.

Hi:

The relay is integral to the intelligent power distribution module (IPDM) (printed circuit board). I have no idea why they designed it that way.

As for the compressor, there is an orange wire that connects to a yellow wire at the compressor. Have you checked to see if there is power to it? If not, do that first. If there is no power, then we need to work backward to see if it is related to the IPDM.

I attached a pic below showing the wire I'm referring to. Let me know what you find.
