A few days ago my battery light started flickering and checked the alternator and I passed and found the voltage regulator was bad. So I changed it and it has been running fine for three days now. However, now I watched the battery gauge drop slowly and now my trucks not running again. It has a new battery as well. What could be my problem?

Good evening.

What brand alternator did you use? Was it new or rebuilt?

If you have a voltmeter, check the voltage at the battery. With the engine running it should be 14 to 14.5 volts.

You may have a bad new alternator.
