It was replaced with a brand new alternator. Just makes the second one and the car is still not charging. What else is there that would cause the alternator not to charge?

Hi,

I attached a picture of the charging system wiring schematic. There are two things I need you to check. First, check the J fuse in the under hood fuse box (circled in pic) and confirm there is 12v power to the black/orange wire to the alt.

I circles two fusible links that have to provide power to the alternator. These links function as a fuse, but look like a regular wire. If they fail, the alt will not work.
