Battery will not stay charged replaced battery and alternator. It seems to be a very common problem, but I cannot seem to make heads or tails from what I read on the internet.

1.8 OR 1.9 OR 2.0 Liter?

Your VIN may take me straight to your section in "Prodemand", I can possibly find (and post) a wiring diagram for your charging system.

This might show fuses and fusible links (and other stuff) and their locations, which may let you track down the evil demons in your car!

Just need the info to get me there.

Your turn,

It is a 2.0. I jumped it today and it started ran for about fifteen minutes and then shut off. Tried to restart it and it would not crank.

See if this helps you out.

GL or GLS? Does not matter anyway. I looked at both charging circuit diagrams for these two models, they are identical.

Click on the diagram below.

Return with good news!
