There was a 50 amp inline fuse placed between the battery and alternator blows once a month even with new alternator.

Hello,
The fuse blows because you have a short to ground in the circuit that it is protecting. Follow the wires that the fuse is in and look for a wire insulation that has been compromised. In the diagrams down below I have included a guide for finding shorts to ground in an automotive circuit. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.
