Hello, the canister is mounted on the back side of the fuel tank. Is there a reason why you need to remove it? The Evap canister close valve or vent valve is mounted on the Canister just so you know.

Are you having trouble filling your gas tank?
The Charcoal Canister is very difficult to remove on these vehicles. Part of the back inner frame is in the way. The vehicle needs to be on a lift and the back inner part of the frame needs to be lowered while the car is still on the lift. If you're getting a specific code for the Evap system, it will be much easier to diagnose the system properly instead of just trying to change parts. Especially of this model vehicle.

Just to jump in, unfortunately the manual does not provide a lot of detail on how to remove this canister.

However, here is a video from 1A Auto that does a good job on showing how to remove it. They are just replacing the vent valve but basically remove the entire canister to get to it.

Clearly this is a different vehicle, but your canister should be in the same spot.

I attached the info from the manual that will show the routing of the lines.

Please let us know how you make out. Thanks

Thanks for the video but it's the wrong location for the canister. Mine is on top of the gas tank.

Okay. Then I attached the process to remove the fuel tank. If you cannot access it without removing the tank, then that will have to come out or at least drop it down to access it.
