Hi, I am Danny.

The easiest way I found to remove the motor mounts was to make a home-made tool from a 1/2 drive socket and 15mm wrench and weld them together. By using this tool and a 1/2 drive breaker bar it is easiest to do it from underneath vehicle to remove bolts and jack up engine to replace the mounts. I have attached a few pictures of the home-made tool. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any further questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thank you Danny, although my husband is a mechanic he was a bit hesitant in getting the job underway. He bought the special tool which looks like the one you made. All good he got the job done today. Thanks again. He did say he would not like to do another one.
