One day I was driving around and noticed a warning on my dashboard saying "coolant" all read with a thermostat sign flashing red. Then I looked inside the hood and saw a pipe somewhere behind the engine leaking like the water was coming out of the pipe like sweat on a person's body. Now I bought the new pipe and I'm trying to learn how to change it on my own if that is possible!

You should be able to change the hose yourself with basic mechanic's tools, I would drain the cooling system first and disconnect the battery to avoid accidentally short circuits. If you could unload an image of the hose I can walk you through the repair step by step. Here are images of the heater hoses please let me know which one is leaking. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

This is what the pipe mechanic gave me looks like. Because they don't have the time to replace it.

Okay, can you lift the hood and see the location of the hose? Please send an image.
