No power to the truck after replacing the starter

Trying to shim starter had an electrical arc small one. Disconnect battery. Shimmed starter reconnected battery no power at all. no lights horn or anything.

Hi,

It has been a long time, but I'll try my best to help. Please understand, I don't have a wiring schematic of the vehicle, so this is nothing but from memory.

If I remember correctly, there should be several fusible links that run between the battery and the power supply entering the vehicle. Additionally, if I recall there is a connector on the firewall that will have two wires going to it. It is a form of fusible link. It was only about 2 inches long. See if you can locate that.

Also, if you can take a few pics of the wiring under the hood, it may help me remember better.
