Changed out seat switch now car will not start?

My boyfriend changed out the inner seat switch before mounting it down. He tested the switch and it worked. Then he put the seat back in place, now the switch doesn’t work, and the car won’t start.

Hi,

I suspect when he reinstalled the seat, he either pinched a wire or caused a short. The power to the seats is provided from fusible link M. This is located in the rear of the engine compartment. Fusible link M also powers the anti-theft system, so if it has failed, the vehicle won't start.

I attached two pics below. The first one shows the link M, where it's located, and what it powers. Pic 2 shows its location in the fuse box.
