Change wheel bolt stud on left side back wheel, how to remove it?

I'm trying to change the wheel bolt studs on the wheel but i can't access it from behind. Is it the ABS system blocking it? How do i remove it so i can hammer out the wheel bolt nuts and replace them with 4 new ones? This is the first time I'm working on my car.
