Hi,

That is odd. When it cranks, does it give any indication it's trying to start? Also, keep in mind, most crank no-start conditions are usually a fuel-related issue or ignition spark. Since the plugs were just replaced, I need you to check if they are getting spark.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-for-ignition-spark

Also, if you have a scan tool, check to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored. If there are, let me know what they are.

If there is no spark to the plugs, check fuse 77 in the intelligent power distribution module (IPDM) under the hood on the passenger side.

Take care,

Joe

It looks like it wants to turn on but it does not, and I don't think it's getting spark.

It's getting spark. Mm I just found out gas can go bad in over 3 months. My car has been sitting with a full tank for 5 months now. I believe that's the problem now. Can I get advice before draining it? Or I'm I wrong?

Hi,

Try this: First, see if it starts with starting fluid. If it does, then we can assume it is fuel related. However, five months isn't long enough for it to get bad enough to prevent it from starting. At least I've never experienced that as an issue.

If it does start and then stalls, we need to check a few things that are fuel related. Try that and let me know the results.

Take care,

joe

I mean it's been 5+ months not ever sure on how long but it could have been a little past 6 month sitting and like 2 days ago. Had the old spark plugs on the front and it did turn on nicely then I'll put it on D then shuts off.

Hi,

Was there a change when starting fluid is used? Also, is it possible for you to record it cranking and upload it for me to hear?

Let me know.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but I am required to do everything here online. As far as the video, what type of file are you trying to upload?

As far as the fuel you removed, I had a feeling that wasn't the cause. If you would have said it sat for 2 years, that would be different.

Also, was there any change with starting fluid? If there wasn't, did you check for ignition spark at the plugs?

Also, videos take a long time to upload over Wi-Fi. Could that be the issue?

Let me know.
