central locking

i lock the van it locks and then unlocks all doors and door light on dash stays on then goes off thirty minutes later. Then sometimes it will lock and stay locked but does not last long. once i open the door weather it l/h or d/s door the door dash light stays on and it just locks and unlocks again.
can you help?

You may have to get a fob re program done, you will require both fobs, and a scan of the PATS system will also help show any fault codes that may be a problem with actuators being faulty.

Has the Ford dealer run an ids test on the system?

Hello,

If i can jump in here I have seen where the drivers door latch micro switch wears out causing the problem you have described. I would try replacing the latch which the switch is internal.
