Went to town and on the way back it started acting funny. Warning lights came on, and the car sounded like sputtering kind of noise. I don't know what's wrong with it. Codes are po301, p0480, p0300, u0401.

If we can hear the noise it would help us know what is wrong, please upload a short video of the noise from under the hood.

P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Malfunction
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
U0401 - Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM

So it looks like you may have two problems, engine misfires and a cooling fan that is not working, can I ask if the engine overheated? If so this can cause the engine to misfire. Also, I have seen these engine need timing chain guides or camshaft actuators but this will depend on the noise, that's why I need the video. Also, can I ask when spark plugs and ignition coils have been replaced?

I can't get to my video, I have it parked at my brother's. But sparks plugs were changed I'd say March or April last year; coils I've never changed. I know the 3rd coil going from front to the firewall the coil bolt stripped out, so it's not on all the way. It has play in it. I will attempt to get a video but may not be today. I'm not sure if my motor overheated, but I remember about 6 months ago my bottom reservoir hose burst going down interstate. I changed the thermostat closes to firewall. My little brother has been looking to see what's going on with it. He said the sound is making kind of sounds like it's coming from back in that area where the thermostat was replaced. Or somewhere on top of the transmission but it's in that vicinity where the noise is. And that's pretty much about it sucks at fuel when I was able to drive it, it was shifting maybe a little bit hard but nothing to like even to notice if you weren't driving it every day.

It could be the coolant hose that let go caused the fan code, it says you have a misfire on cylinder #1 so that could be the ignition coil, but I would check the spark plug as well. Here is a guide on misfires to help you see what you are in for when fixing it, but sure to clear the codes once any repairs are completed.

Well my fan doesn't work. So, I had to wire it to battery and to use it I plug it in to or un-plug to turn off. My little brother said spark plugs still looked good he wiped it off because it was a smidge dirty but other than that idk. The fans are not connected so that's why that's throwing that code. I'm just concerned about the ECM code, the misfire in 1 and multiple. Along with the way it started running. It'll sit and idle, but it literally sounds like it's going to die. Bogging kind of noise. I thought it could be o2 sensor or a clogged converter? Or coils. But I think with these cars you have to get them reprogrammed every so often like the ECM and PCM. My car has never done this. Yet spitting and sputtering sound just dreams my head on so many areas.

If you go over the guide above it tells how to go about checking the misfires. Does the cylinder have compression?

Yes it has compression. It starts, runs, just sounds like crap. There was a hose at one time when my husband and me change the coolant on the back of the motor where the frame starts that this hose I don't know where it went we couldn't figure it out it did have a nibble on it at one time and it broke off but it started around the transmission area on top of that and it came up to the top where the firewall is and it was near the back where the coolant temperature thingy is we never knew where that went so we just kind of thought it was a something that let's air out it hasn't ever caused any issues I don't think but it's rain good up until a month ago and it hasn't moved my brother's driveway I was going to drive it home but I was too scared to considering it sounds like it's going to stall.

If you can get a video of the engine is it making it will make this a lot easier. You can upload it here in your response. You may have a timing chain issue.
