The oil pressure is normal, and all the numbers are where they should be. I replaced the sensor with an aftermarket one, but CEL is still present. CEL was cleared after repair but came back on the same day. Routine Maintenace has been completed at the recommended time/mileage and no recent repairs have been made. If the diagnostic numbers are normal and there is a new sensor, what could the issue be and is it safe to drive?

Yes as long as you have good oil pressure it is safe to drive. This means the control solenoid has probably gone out, but this light can also be on if the engine oil is low or the wrong weight.

The P06DD code on a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6L engine refers to an issue with the engine oil pressure control circuit.

If the oil is correct and full here is how the repair to the oil pump can be done to fix it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for the information! The 2012 Grand Caravan in question is a car I'm looking into buying. They are asking $6,000. It has 156,000 miles and is in near perfect condition cosmetically. They have replaced the sensor and checked the oil pressure levels at both hi and low rpm levels but the CEL stays. Is it a good idea to go ahead and by the car even with the CEL? Will I have to put $1,000+ worth of work into it in the near future because of the said CEL? I just want to make sure I don't spend hard earned money on a lemon.

Just keep in mind that the oil pump may need to be replaced. I would look inside the engine through the oil fill cap to see what the sludge build up is like which will tell you how often they changed the oil.
