Hello,

Is there any way you can secure the catalytic converter to the exhaust pipe with a muffler clamp?

Thanks,
Alex

I am looking for the cause of the breakage. My mechanic is wondering if a motor mount could be loose enough to shake it. It is in the harness that keeps it from dropping. I think.

I would say look at the engine torque mount.first lift the hood while parked and stat the engine have someone watch the engine and raise the idle slightly 800 RPM approx. Then put the car in drive and then reverse to check for excessive movement. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
