carwont stay running

2001 PONTIAC GRAND AM

I put the key in the ignition turn car over it start but dies after about 3 sec. It's the same way every time I try to start it. It dies in the exact amount of time like clock work. I hear fuel pump kick on I know I'm getting gas it just won't stay running. Not sure what else to do.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs-start here

reset anti theft unit first you won't get any fuel pressure.
