carburetor to transmission

i need a schematic or picture of how the carburetor is connected to itself and the transmission, the manual i have is no help at all, the engine is a 429 v8 with a c6 transmission, please help!, thank you!

we don't have that pic, normally the trans linkage is connected to bottom a nd accelerator to top but depending on how the cable or linkage works it can go either way. if you could send a pic back with linkage I could probably help,

will send a picture as soon as possible, and i know where the linkage connects to the carburetor, but what i am having difficulties with is where the spring for it connects.

you may be missing a piece for the spring they either bolt to the base of carb orthe intake manifold. It's been a while for me to remember stuff like that. make sure to try to take apic of bracketry If you have anylike at the back of carb.
