High RPM's when first starting in the morning

When I start my car in the morning the RPM's go sky high as if the choke is sticking on. is there any way I can fix this? Tried kicking it off but no joy.

I sounds like you might be having an issue with the idle air control valve. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
