Will not start, not even a click?

So, i wake up this morning to go to work, and it doesn't start, dash lights, radio, etc., all work but not even a click from the starter. the check engine light flashes, randomly. i counted it in case it matters (1254). any ideas? it ran great yesterday.

No trouble codes will make it not crank over, it sounds like the starter has gone out. So, to confirm this let's see if you have power to the starter solenoid trigger wire when the key is in the crank position. This guide will help:
