I bought the car from somebody on Craigslist not too long ago and the car came with one key and no fob. I've checked the fuses and relays and everything's okay. It almost seems like it's not getting fuel. How can I reset the security system without the fob to see if this is the problem? Thanks in advance, Kathy

Hello,

Unfortunately you cannot reset the Passive Anti Theft System[PATS] on your vehicle. In the diagrams down below I have included Battery Junction Box diagram with callout. Please check that the PCM fuse[30A] is not blown. This will keep the PATS signal from the PCM and your Anti Theft bulb will flash tripping the immobilizer. If this is okay then you will have to get the keys programmed to the PCM. Only the dealership or a locksmith can do this. It is intentionally done like this to keep thieves from stealing your vehicle. Please let us know what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
