Recently changed fan belt on my car and now it won't start. Checked the battery and it is okay. What could be the cause?

Hello,
Can I ask if the security light is flashing? If so the system needs to be reset. here is a guide:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system
If not then we need to see if the starter is getting power to the solenoid this guide will help with that:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/starter-not-working-repair
Please run down these guides and report back.
