car will not start?

Drove to store, then to gas station. Went to start it up to go home and nothing. It had to be towed.

Hi,

When you try to start the vehicle, does the starter engage or does nothing happen? Are the other electrical components in the vehicle? For example, do the headlamps work or the power windows?
