Will not start?

My car wants to start but it tries and then just shuts off. Man, I'm lost this car has been a pain, it turns over fine and try to start, but I have tried everything I know and it's not working. The only thing I haven't done is pull the motor. I got so many parts in this car i don't where to begin any more, it used to start right up, then went to tune it up had problem since. can you help? Maybe there is something I am missing. thanks guys you have been a lot of help for me.

We should see if the engine is getting fuel. please use starting fluid and then crank it over to see if anything changes, if not let's test for spark.
