Welcome to 2CarPros.

What did you find on the timing belt? Is the belt broken or has it jumped time? Does it sound different when the starter is turning the engine?

If the belt is the issue, the good news is that this is not an interference engine, so part replacement will take care of it. However, we need to determine what exactly has happened.

Take a look at the this link first:

If that doesn't help, we need to determine if there is spark and fuel to the engine.

If there is spark and fuel, then we have to check engine compression to see if there is a timing issue.

Let me know what you find. I can walk you through the timing belt if it is needed.

Take care,'
