Car will not start in freezing weather

The car model is an E320. It is below zero weather when i turn the key the gauges are clicking up and down the trunk popped open by itself. the dash says display defect, the climate control screen says eee.

Oh man that is cold. It sounds lie to me that you have a battery that is getting weak. To confirm the failure please do this test.

Is could be a bad connection as well.
