Car will not start

I jumped my car, it will crank up but the engine won't turn over. any suggestions?

Just a quick question to be on the same page. Are you saying you tried jump starting the battery and the engine didn't crank over? Did it just click or nothing? We will await your response.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The lights turned on, inside and outside. The engine cranked but the car didn't start so I could drive it. Radio was on, all the dash lights were on. It sounded like it wanted to start but it didn't.
