Car will not start

My car isn’t starting at all or even making any noise when I try to start it. It was low on oil but didn’t give me any oil light or engine light. My car was smoking when I tried to start it. I added more oil thinking it could help but didn’t do anything and then the check engine light came on shortly after. All the inside lights turn on and the headlights turn on too.
