When I try to start the car, the starter engages (engine turns over) but it won't start. Then, when you release the key from the start position (back to acc), the starter doesn't disengage.

I have a few questions and I think the easiest thing to do is get a video of this happening and I suspect it will answer all of them.

However, I am looking to know what happens when you release the key. Are you cranking the engine and then just letting the key go and it is going back to the on position? You said Acc which means you are actually clicking it back from on to Acc. The positions of the key are off, Acc, on, start. So when you are cranking the engine are you just letting the key go and it continues to crank? How long does it continue to crank? If it is continuous, what do you have to do in order to get it to stop cranking?

Let's start with this info and then we can go from there. Thanks
