Car will not crank

Jump starting car, 40 below Celsius, Bendix kick in but no crank.

When you say the Bendix kicks in but no crank, is the engine getting turned by the starter or do you just get one click?

If it is only one click, it sounds like the battery is weak. Have you tried to jump start it?
