When I’m driving my car it feels like it’s wobbling. Like the tires are going to fall off. A rattle shaky feeling That’s just my way of describing someone else may not. It mostly does it I think when I let off the gas. I feel a wobble/vibration type and sound under the car. I recently got new tires break and rotors and it still does it. Could it be rack and pinion loose? Someone told me the suspension could need to be tightened that’s why it does that?

Hello,

Well this could be a couple of things. Usually this is a problem with your vehicle's tires being out of balance or wheel bearings. To check to see if you have a problem with wheel bearings, you first need to jack the vehicle up and support it on jack stands like you were going to change the tire you are checking. Next grab the top of the tire and push it towards the vehicle and then grab the bottom of tire and pull it towards you. If there is any play at all then that wheel bearing is bad and needs to be replaced. You should check both front tires this way and get back to us with what you are able to find out. We can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

I had a mechanic drive it this morning he thinks it’s the tie rod ends. Does this sound right?

Hello again,

That's also a possibility. I would go with that, he has the car in front of him and is able to make an easier diagnosis. Please keep us informed with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

I just picked up the car and drove home, about 13 miles. The wobble and sounds are gone so I guess it was tie rods. Thank you so much.
