My 2004 ford mustang will get stuck in park, I can get it out by putting it in neutral first and than I can turn it on and drive it, but it won't shift regularly out of park once the car is actually turned on, the button won't push in regularly, what's the problem?

If it is getting stuck in park, chances are the park lock solenoid is going bad. This may sound funny, but when it is stuck, check to see if the brake lights are working. The brake light switch sends power to the solenoid to release only when the brakes are on.
