First I changed the fuel pump and then the throttle body. The car did sit for one year without repair. I have taken all the old gas out changed plugs new battery and air filter. The compression on the car was at zero until I lubed the values I am getting 150 psi for all four valves, but the car will car at times and then it shuts off again. What else can I check to get the car started and running again?

If it sat for a while check over all the wiring for rodent damage, they love to chew on wiring. Next, does it start and run and shut off or just turn over and not run?

Well it does start for a minute and then it shuts off again. I have looked all over the car it looks fine. I have drained all the gas and added new gas because of the car sitting there so long.

Okay then. We need to determine what is causing it to shut off, loss of fuel or spark. When it shuts off will it restart again immediately or do you have to wait? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? If so or you can get one, put it on and watch it when the engine shuts off.

Okay, so either a loss of spark or injector control. What do you have for diagnostic gear?
