I had my car jumpstarted today from AAA. Then when I was driving away my RPM Gauge and Fuel Gauge both weren't working, my Speedometer, Odometer and Temperature gauges working just fine. I was wondering could a voltage spike cause some gauges to go out or malfunction? What can I do to try to fix it.

Is the battery bad in the vehicle? And yes, a voltage spike could cause issues, but that doesn't usually happen when jump starting. Do you know why it needed jumped (battery or alt problem)?
