Codes U0038, and code U0100

Codes U0038, and code U0100 appear with road departure mitigation and adaptive cruise control problems after reconnecting battery.

Hello,

The codes
U0038 PT-CAN Malfunction (TCM ECU BUS-OFF)
U0100-00 : F-CAN Malfunction (EPS Control Unit-PCM)

These can get triggered due to any number of components. It can also be due to a wiring issue.

I have attached the troubleshooting guide for both of these codes below.
