When i stop and the air or heat is on my car acts as if it is going to cut off, but once i turn the air or heat off it runs just fine.

Hello,
This sounds like you have an air conditioner compressor that is going out. I know it is weird but the compression runs with the heater on. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job:

It could be a dirty throttle body as well. I would try this first,
