Got into car and noticed press brake press start button. But when I did it wouldn't start. The brake pedal was hard to push. So thought it might be the fob key. So changed battery. And tried again and want start. The horn does not work, and head lights don't work. The inside dome light was flickering on and off. Bought a new battery maybe 8-10 months ago. Could it be the battery?

Yes it could be but, I would check the battery terminals.

Here is a guide to help you fix it:

Clean the cable and battery terminals and make sure they are tight. Please wear gloves and protective eyewear.
