Car vent selector not working

When i press the vent selector button, it does not change. the vent is always blowing on the windscreen and front vents only. so during the summer when i turn on the A/C, my windscreen starts to freeze up because i cannot change it from the selector.

Hello,

The system is run by vacuum I would start by checking the vacuum line under the hood to see if there is a break in the line which will cause the problem you are describing.
