Bought a new battery. When coming to a stop, the car turns off. What could it be?

It may need to relearn idle.

Try this:

Get the vehicle to operating temperature.

Turn off any accessories that may be on, including your HVAC

Turn the vehicle "off".

Turn it to "on" (do not start it).

Turn it off.

Turn it back to "on".

From "on" go ahead and start the vehicle.

Set the parking brake, keep your foot on the brake pedal.

Put the car in "drive".

Just sit there running about five minutes. Do not rev it or drive it, just let it idle. The engine may rev up and down on its own.

Five minutes is up.

Put it in park, turn it off.

That is supposed to fix your problem.

Let us know how it goes.
