Car trys to start but wont

Car wont start unless we pull it and pop clutch but after that u can shut it off and it starts right back up the rest of the day until next morning, it cranks like it is trying to start but wont.

TAP THE STARTER WITH A HAMMER WHILE HOLDING THE KEY IN START POSSITION AND SEE IF IT STARTS
