Intermittent car stuttering and transmission gets stuck in first gear?

My car will stutter here and there and at some points will get stuck in first gear. It has only gotten stuck twice and I usually just turn my car off and on then it’s fine. I have my ABS light e brake light and my wheel traction light all on at the same time. I’m not sure what would cause all of these lights to turn on and cause the issue with my car.

It sounds like you may have a catalytic converter that has fallen apart internally. We need to run the codes to see which ones are stored so they can tell us where to look for the problem.

You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
