Car still runs when removing the key

I messed and move the ecu harness to access the a/c orifice tube and the TCM accidentally touch the starter wire and arced. Now the car wont shut off when I turn the switch off and removed the key. Also, the car barely moves when in gear. And the display wont show me what gear I am in

Hi,

The gear indicator is controlled by the range sensor. The short sounds like the TCM was likely damaged.

What I suggest is to have the can-bus scanned for codes. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different computers/modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will identify codes regardless of the module storing them.

Also, I attached the wiring schematic for the transmission below. Check to make sure neither of the fuses I highlighted has failed.
