I have a Stratus RT manual transmission. It wont start. No any sound. Recently installed a new battery and starter motor. The only way I can start my car is by pedaling the clutch one time and then it starts.

Please reply me the reason for this. I need help. Thanks again.

So depressing the clutch in order to start is a normal way to start a manual transmission vehicle? Please reply. Thanks a lot.
