Hi,
What you described sounds like it may have a failing crankshaft position sensor. When they start going bad, often times heat causes them to fail. Take a look through this link and let me know if it seems to mirror what you are experiencing. Also, let me know if you have a scan tool.

Let me know if this only happens when the engine is warm and if you ever experience a no start when it happens until it cools off.
