Car stalls

Stalls when I apply brakes and go to stop or first crank up.

You may have a leaking brake vacuum booster. Remove the hose from the booster and plug, start the engine and apply the brakes, (the brakes will feel very hard this is normal with the booster disconnected) if the engine revs do not alter or stall, the booster will be leaking. Do not drive with booster disconnected as you will have very poor brakes. This is a static test only.
