Car stalling and back firing

Sometimes there is a problem starting and when it does sometimes it will not accelerate. It has back fired. Sometimes the engine also accelerates even when you do not push on the gas or if you push on the gas pedal it will not go.

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. also, check for a vacuum leak, broken hose/one off etc., see link.
